Kids Voting of Southeastern PA is over 7 years old, and is currently led by Dr. Richard O. Coe, the recently retired Executive Director of the Bucks County Intermediate Unit. In the most recent National election, thousands of students voted in polling locations across Bucks County, many of whom were alongside their parents.
The results are very real. Studies of the program show Kids Voting participants are more likely to be civically active and engaged young adults. Parents of Kids Voting participants are proven to also have higher rates of activity at the polls.
